Click Configuration > 802.1x > Radius Server Configuration in the
navigation panel to display the screen as shown.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
9.4 802.1x Port Configuration Screen
Use this screen to enable and configure port authentication on individual ports.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Server IP
Address Enter the IP address of the external authentication server in dotted
decimal notation.

Shared Key Enter a password (up to 128 alphanumeric characters) as the key to be
shared between the external authentication server and the Switch. The
key must be the same on the external authentication server and your
Switch. The key is not sent over the network.
Server UDP
Port Number Enter the port number of the RADIUS server. The default port number is
1812.
Server
Accounting
Port Number Enter the port number of the external accounting server. The default port
number is 1813. You need not change this value unless your network
administrator instructs you to do so with additional information.
Server Time
Out Type how many minutes a session can be left idle before the session
times out.
Undo Click this to restore your last saved settings.
Apply Click this to save your changes.
