If you changed the static IP address and have forgotten it, you have to reset the
device to its factory defaults. Contact your vendor.
If you set the NWA to get a dynamically assigned IP address from a DHCP server,
check your DHCP server for the IP address assigned to the ZyXEL Device.

Make sure you are using the correct IP address.
• The default IP address is 192.168.1.2.
• If you changed the IP address (

address.
• If you changed the IP address and have forgotten it, see the troubleshooting
suggestions for

Check the hardware connections. See the Quick Start Guide.

Make sure your Internet browser does not block pop-up windows and has
JavaScripts and Java enabled. See

Make sure your computer is in the same subnet as the NWA. (If you know that
there are routers between your computer and the NWA, skip this step.)
• If there is no DHCP server on your network, make sure your computer’s IP
address is in the same subnet as the NWA.

Reset the device to its factory defaults, and try to access the NWA with the default
IP address. Contact your vendor.

If the problem continues, contact the network administrator or vendor, or try the
advanced suggestions.
