Suspension forks 

Case: 

You buy your bike online and have final assembly carried out in a specialist workshop. After about 
two weeks, you notice a knocking in the suspension forks when riding on cobbled roads. 

Cause: 

One of the springs in the suspension forks has broken. 

Procedure and claims: 

Contact our Service department via the service form. This is clearly a case for a warranty claim, as it 
can be assumed that the suspension forks already had a defect at the time of delivery. 

 

Case: 

You buy your bike online and carry out final assembly correctly yourself. 
As you often ride very hilly routes at high speed with small jumps, you notice after two months that 
the suspension forks are sagging. 

Cause: 

One of the springs in the suspension forks has broken. 

Procedure and claims: 

Although you are within the statutory warranty period, you have no warranty and/or guarantee 
claims here as this form of use not an intended use. 

 

Battery 

Case: 

You buy your bike online and have final assembly carried out in a specialist workshop. After three 
months, the battery output becomes so weak that you only ride 5 km. 

Cause: 

Malfunction in one or more cells or in the BMS. 

Procedure and claims: 

Contact our Service department via the service form. This is very probably a case for a warranty 
claim, as it can be assumed that the battery already had less than 100% function at the time of deliv-
ery. The warranty claim can only be upheld, however, if the battery does not have any signs of me-
chanical damage that could have been caused by improper use or a fall. 

Case: 

You buy your bike online and carry out final assembly correctly yourself. 
After 20 months, the battery can no longer be charged. 

Cause: 

Malfunction in one or more cells or in the BMS.
