Chapter 4 System Configurations
Prerequisite
The terminal is not engaged in a conference.
Context
l
Forward Error Correction (
) enables the terminal to adopt specified redundancy
transmission policies that will guarantee a clear and smooth video transmission under
a specified packet loss rate.
When enabling the FEC function, you are recommended to enable the
IP Auto Rate
function.
l
Auto IP Rate function is used to increase or decrease the real-time conference rate
automatically in accordance with the network situation. If the packet loss ratio exceeds
a specified threshold, the system decreases the conference rate, and if the network
recovers to the normal situation, the system increases the conference rate.
Steps
