Parameter Description
Transfer protocol Select the transfer protocol in accordance with the SIP server
working mode.

If Working Mode is set to UC_SIP , IMS_SIP , or
TELECOM_SIP , you can select User Datagram Protocol
( UDP ), Transmission Control Protocol ( TCP ) or Transport
Layer Security ( TLS ). If you select TCP or TLS , you can make
a call of SIP type after the successful registration to the SIP
server. You must use the SIP user name for addressing. If the
IP address needs to be used for the call, both parties must be
successfully registered on the SIP server.

If Working Mode is set to MICROSOFT_LYNC , you must
select the Transport Layer Security ( TLS ).
The name of the
authentication
When the register server requires authentication, the
authentication name must be configured and is assigned by the
administrator.
The proxy server
address/The backup proxy
server address
IP address of the proxy server.
The SIP proxy server can receive a session request from the user
agent, and query the accepted address from the register server. If
the user agent and the proxy server are in the same domain, the
session initialization is forwarded to the user agent. If they are
not in the same domain, the session initialization is forwarded
to another proxy server.
If the proxy server fails to operate, the backup proxy server can
replace it for normal operation.
In most cases, only the IP address needs to be specified. If the
port number is required, the format should be proxy/standby
proxy server IP address:port number , and the general default
port number is 5060 .
Password The password registered by a terminal in the SIP server. This
password is used by the SIP server to authenticate the validity
of a terminal.
The password of a terminal must be consistent with that predefined
in the SIP server.
