If the Ethernet port is optical port, verify that the optical fiber is connected
properly, the optical module is operating properly, and the working modes
are matched.
2.5 Network Management
2.5.1 Network Management Services Are Disconnected
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Verify that the radio link is operating properly. For detailed information, refer to "

Verify that the Ethernet service is operating properly. For detailed information, refer to

3.
Verify that the
VLAN ID
parameter and the
Bandwidth
parameter are set correctly.
4.
Verify that the equipment's IP address is set correctly.

If the equipment is working in the layer-2 switching mode, verify that all IP
addresses satisfying the layer-2 switching protocol are in the same subnetwork.
l
If the equipment is working in the layer-3 routing mode, verify that the Open
Shortest Path First (
) configuration is correct, and verify that the following
cases do not exist:

There are network management routes missed.
à
Network management services are disconnected due to the equipment's
crossing network segments.
Users can add routes for the equipment in accordance with the actual condition.
5.
Verify that the transmission channel between the equipment and the Network
Management Server (
) is normal.
2.5.2 NEs Are Out of Control
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Verify that the Ethernet cables are connected properly.
2.
Ping the EMS server from the NEs respectively. Verify that the IP configurations of the
NEs are the same with the design.
3.
Check the MAC addresses of the NEs and verify that the NEs are configured with
different MAC address.
