2.3 TDM Service Faults
E1 Services Are Disconnected
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Verify that the radio link is operating properly. For operation details, refer to "

Verify that the E1 link status indicator of the RTEA board is in normal status.

If the indicator is lit green, the E1 link is operating properly.
l
If the indicator is flashing slowly or not lit, some E1 signals or all E1 signals are
lost.
3.
In the LMT system, verify that the working mode and cross connection of the service
boards are configured correctly.
4.
Verify that the connectors of E1 signal cables are well made and are connected
properly.
5.
Verify that the transceiving connections at the equipment side and at the Digital
Distribution Frame (
) side are connected properly.
6.
Find out the E1 impedance (balanced 120
Ω
or non-balanced 75
Ω
). In the LMT
system, verify that the impedance type configured matches the E1 impedance type.
7.
Perform the loopback test.
2.4 Ethernet Service Faults
Ethernet Services Are Disconnected
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Verify that the radio link is operating properly. For detailed information, refer to "

Verify that Jumbo and HC/PLA are enabled or disables as what they should be.
3.
Verify that the GbE interface status indicator of the RCMUA board is in normal status.

If the indicator is lit green or flashing, the link is operating properly.
Verify that the Ethernet parameters of the microwave equipment and the port
parameters of the network device (such as a switch) connected to the microwave
equipment are configured correctly. These parameters include duplex mode, rate,
learning mode, self-negotiation mode, flow control and rate setting, default port
priority, VLAN setting (VLAN ID, port type, egress policy, and PVID), xSTP setting,
LAG setting, and QoS setting.

If the indicator is not lit, the link signal is lost.

In the LMT system, verify that the Ethernet port is enabled.

If the Ethernet port is electrical port, verify that the Ethernet cable is well
made, the crystal connectors are in good condition, the line sequence is
correct, and the cable is connected reliably.
