Charging the Battery
Your tablet’s battery should have enough power for the tablet to turn on and
find a signal. You should fully charge the battery as soon as possible.
If the battery is low, there will be a pop-up message on the screen. The
status bar at the top of the screen will show the exact battery level.
WARNING!
Use only ZTE-approved chargers and USB Type-C cables. The use of
unapproved accessories could damage your device or cause the battery to
explode.
WARNING!
Do not remove the back cover. The battery is not removable. Removal
may cause fire or explosion.

Connect the adapter to the
charging jack.
2.
Connect the charger to a
standard AC power outlet. If
the tablet is on, you’ll see a
charging icon, such as
or
, appear in the status
bar.

Disconnect the charger
when the battery is fully
charged.
NOTE:
If the battery is extremely low, you may be unable to power on the device
even when it is being charged. In this case, try again after charging the
device for at least 20 minutes. Contact customer service if you still cannot
power on the device after prolonged charging.
Note on Smart Battery Protection Mode
Smart Battery Protection mode automatically optimizes the charging mode
of the high-density battery in the device based on the device’s usage history
in order to prolong the life of the battery.
Device plugged in for less than 24 hours: Battery will be in active
charging mode.
Device plugged in for 24 hours: Device will stop charging and enter
standby mode. The battery will start to slowly discharge to 50% (which
can take up to a few days depending on background processes of apps
and the system.)
Device remains plugged in after battery has discharged to 50%: Device
will alternate between charging and standby mode, maintaining a
battery level of between 50% and 70%.
If the device charging cable is removed and plugged back in, the 24-hour
timer resets and the battery will remain in an active charging state for
another 24 hours before entering standby mode again.
Extending the Battery Life
Active applications, screen brightness levels, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi usage,
and GPS functionality can drain your battery. You can follow the helpful tips
below to conserve your battery power:
Reduce the screen backlight time.
