Settings
Setting the bevel angle
Loosen the lock knob for the bevel angle
(28) and lock screw (29) and tilt the saw
arm 0-45° to the left, until the indicator is
level with the required setting on the scale.
Retighten the lock knob.
Once the saw arm has been fully tipped to
the left or right, the angle gauge will be at
45°.
If this is not the case, loosen the counter-
screw (30) and turn the stop screw (31) until
the correct angle is indicated. Retighten the
counter-screw.
Setting the mitre angle
Loosen the knob (11) for the mitre angle.
Push the release (10) down, and turn the
mitre arm to the right or left, until the
indicator is level with the required setting
on the scale (12). Release and retighten the
lock knob.
There are noticeable stops at angles of 0°
- 15° - 22.5° - 30° - 45°.

Checking and adjusting the guide
Adjust the saw to 0° bevel and 0° mitre.
Lower the saw arm and lock it securely by
pulling the lock pin (32) out and turning it.
Place a try square against the guide and
saw blade. If they are not at the correct
angle, loosen the two hexagonal screws (33)
on the guide and adjust so that the angle
between the saw blade and the guide is
exactly 90°. Retighten the hexagonal screws.
Release the saw arm again by pulling the
lock pin out and turning it.
