4. Starting a cleaning cycle

4.1 Starting up the cleaner

Under normal conditions, the cleaner is effective enough that no more than 3 cleaning cycles per week should 

be necessary.

•  When you connect the control box, the operating time for the selected cycle is displayed (OV 3500 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 

- RV 5470 - RV 5500).

• 

You can launch a cleaning cycle by pressing the  

 button on the control box or the remote control (OV 3500 - RV 

4550 - RV 5500).

                 

•  The screen then displays the time remaining for the cleaning cycle, example :  

 

(OV 3500 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - 

RV 5470 - RV 5500).

4.2 Choosing a cleaning cycle 

(OV 3500 - RV 4400 - RV 4460 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - RV 5470 - RV 5500)

•  On first use a default cleaning cycle is programmed. The indicators below are on:

• 

 Bottom only (OV 3500 - RV 4400 - RV 4460 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - RV 5470).

• 

 Low intensity;  

 Bottom only; 

 Other shapes, other bottoms (RV 5500).

•  In order to customise the cleaning cycle, use the following buttons (see  § 3):

(OV 3500 - RV 4400 - RV 4460 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - RV 5470)

• 

 

(RV 5500)

The cleaning cycle can be customised at any time, before the cleaner starts or while it is operating. If you cus-

tomise the cycle during operation, the new cycle will begin instantly and the remaining time countdown will be 

reinitialised.

4.3 Adjusting the cleaning time (OV 3500 - RV 4550)

•  You can reduce or increase the cleaning time of the cycle selected or in progress by pressing 

 or

 reduce by 30 minutes. 

•

increase by 30 minutes.

4.4 Taking the cleaner out of the water 

(RV 4400 - RV 4460 - RV 5400 - RV 4550 - RV 5470 - RV 5550).

•  You may use removal from pool mode at any time using the control box or the remote control (RV 4550 - RV 5550: see 

§ 6.4).

 

 

Direct the cleaner to the required wall

 

 

Move the cleaner towards the wall

Hold down the 

 button, the cleaner 

moves forward when you release the button.

•  When the cleaner is within hand's reach, pick it up by the handle and lift it gently out of the pool so that the water it 

contains drains into the pool

Do not pull on the cable to remove the cleaner from the pool. Use the handle.
