VOX
V
OX (Voice Operated Control) is a speech control
giving the possibility to transmit without using the
radio PTT. The VOX sensitivity can be set in 15
different sound levels. Level 1 means low
sensitivity, i.e. a strong voice is needed to operate
the transmitter, while level 15 is high sensitivity, and
the radio will start transmitting from a low voice
level. Be aware that the radio will transmit each
time a voice level above the set VOX level is
received. You should therefore only use this
function when needed.
