Display
You can select to show the channel setting as
channel number or channel text.
To change display information:
1. Press [Menu] to enter menu mode.
2. Use [UP]or[DN]to scroll list until
DISPLAY is shown.
3. Press [Menu] to select.
4. Use [UP]or[DN] to select
CH NUMBER or CH TEXT.
5. Press [Menu] to confirm.
VOX
VOX operation is a speech control function making
it possible to transmit without using the PTT key.
The VOX can be set in 15 different sensitivity
levels. Level 1 means low sensitivity, while level 15
means high sensitivity. Try the different settings to
find which is most suitable. When the VOX is
active, the symbol is shown in the display of the
radio. OFF means that the VOX function is
switched off.
