MENU KEYS
Menu
This key is used to choose menu selection.
H/L
Toggle between high,medium or low power.
SQ
Select the desired squelch level. You can select
between 15 levels.
SC
Start scanning programmed channels.
[UP]
Up key. Select the desired channel or scroll
menu function
[DN]
Down key. Select the desired channel or scroll
menu function.
This button will lock the front keys in order to
avoid un-wanted operation. The PTT-, Monitor-
and Light-button will not be affected by the key
lock so that you will be able to answer a call or
listen to weak signals quickly.
Monitor
Monitor key (3). Sets the point at which random
noise on the channel does not activate the audio
circuits but a received signal does.This point is
called the squelch threshold. Further adjustment
of the squelch control will degree the reception
of wanted transmissions.
