EMERGENCY STOPPING OF THE SYSTEM.
During operation of the system some of its modules (hot water pellet boiler or pellet burner)
might transit to emergency mode situations. Some of these situations would be detected by
the relevant module sensors of the system, as emergency prevention procedures will be
automatically executed.
In case an emergency situation occurs – overheating of the hot water boiler
from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT”, then the emergency thermostat, positioned
on the boiler’s interface panel, activates. The reason for emergency failure
must be found and the relevant corrective measures should be performed.
This thermostat must be then manually switched by unscrewing its protection
cover cap and by pressing its button, until it switches back. After that the
protection cap must be screwed back again. The automated pellet burner from
series “GP xx sc” must be also restarted, by switching the button “POWER” on
the boiler’s interface panel to position OFF and then back to ON.
In case of emergency situation in the operation of an automated pellet burner
from series “GP xx sc” it transits to emergency mode, stops operation and
shows an information message on its display panel. In such cases the
meaning of the displayed failure code has to be checked in the burner’s
manual book, as well as to perform corrective actions, which are also
presented in that manual.
In case the pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” is in emergency mode that is
not described, neither in its manual book nor in this manual, ask for servicing
assistance by the company that services and maintains the system.
6.8.
USER INTRODUCTION TO THE PROCEDURES FOR MAINTENANCE AND
ADJUSTMENTS OF THE SYSTEM.
It is necessary that the user is completely introduced with the presented manual for
installation and operation of the system and with the automated burner from series “GP xx
sc” manual book, as well as with how the system operates, its settings and adjustments, and
with the methods for maintenance of its modules:
Refueling the hopper with pellets
– The pellets have to be unloaded in a hopper,
through which the fuel transport auger of the pellet burner intakes fuel and transports
it to the burner’s main module;
Cleaning the boiler from the ash residues -
We recommend to the end user one
per month temporarily to switch off the pellet burner with self-cleaning from series
"GP xx sc" in the manner described in its manual, wait enough time (it is
recommended to wait about 30 minutes) until the boiler has cooled to safe
temperature values of its surfaces. After cleaning the internal heat exchanger
surfaces of the ash, to export outside the collected from the boiler ash in the
container, located at the bottom of the heat exchanger, then in reverse order to close
the door and lid to the pot to clean burner and then include it in the manner described
in its manual.
Before taking action on cleaning, servicing and repair the facility must to be
unplugged from supply tension.
The combustion chamber door closes through a handle. It is recommended
not to apply too much force, in order to preserve the sealing rope elasticity. To
open turn the handle clockwise (to open lift the handle arm up).
The cleaning of the ash from the burner, as well as the removal of the ash
container can be done with personal protective equipment (gloves and
sleeves).
