CONNECTING THE WATER LINE TO THE WATER SUPPLY
1. Turn off the home’s water supply before installing this dishwasher.
2. Install a hand shut-off valve in an accessible location, such as under the sink. This is
optional, but strongly recommended, and may be required by local codes. A hand
shut-off valve can be purchased at most hardware stores.
3. Install the hot water inlet line, using at least 3/8" (10 mm) tubing. Route the line as
shown in the figure on page 13 and extend it forward at least 18" (457 mm) from
the rear wall of the enclosure.
4. Adjust the water heater to a temperature between 120°F and 150°F (49°C and
65°C).
5. Flush the water line to clean out any debris.
NOTE:
The hot water pressure must be between 20 and 120 psi (138 and 827 kPa).
