Note:
The thermal threshold test is especially recommended to avoid overdose with
darker skin types (IV, V, VI), particularly in CW mode.
The thermal threshold test requires unimpaired thermal sensitivity.
If it is locally impaired, the test should be conducted at a heat-sensitive
location.
Thermal threshold
test
The laser beam is applied until the patient feels a sensation of heat. The right
laser power is set properly if the application time is between 7 and 11 seconds.
Press the "Thermal threshold" button (1) to open the window to perform the
thermal threshold test (2).
The thermal threshold test is performed in continuous mode, which is
automatically set after pressing the "Thermal threshold" button.
