6.2. Connecting Ignition
The ignition input of the BlackKite-Fleet, is used to identify whether the vehicle is stationary or
moving. This is used internally by the device, to determine the data transmission period. The power
supply output from the ignition switch to the vehicle accessories (like dashboard, radio, etc.), can
be used from this purpose. The below figure shows how to connect an ignition switch to the ignition
input.
