Product overview
3.1
Application
The ZAdyn4CA HY is a
fi
eld-orientated Frequency inverter for speed control of three-phase asynchro-
nous motors in hydraulic lift systems.
The ZAdyn4CA HY is designed for the modernisation of existing hydraulic systems.
The ZAdyn4CA HY is equipped with a microprocessor control. The use of IGBT modules and pulse
width modulation with variable switching frequency enables low-noise operation of the motor. The
user interface, interfaces and software adapted specially to lift technology enable easy installation and
start-up of the machine.
3.2
Functional description
The device was designed to modernise hydraulic systems. The soft starter is replaced by the
ZAdyn4CA HY. Thus, the ZAdyn4CA HY is only used for lifting. Lowering is still done by means of the
lowering valve of the valve block. The ZAdyn4CA HY is connected to the elevator control system via
DCP4. For this purpose, the elevator control system must possess a shaft copying encoder. For lifting
operations, the elevator control system gives the ZAdyn4CA HY a travel command with target position
via DCP4 and at the same time completely opens all open valves on the valve block up to the end of
travel. The travel curve is completely controlled via the ZAdyn4CA HY. A brake resistor is not
necessary.
