RESIDUAL RISK
Residual risk is:
• a danger that cannot be completely eliminated through design and application of safety
devices.
• a potential danger which cannot be highlighted.
DM
series ovens reach very high temperatures and thus allow specific odontotechny materials
to be fired; the residual risks thus consist of:
• accidental contact (and/or caused by a safety system fault) with the materials or the equipment
itself, during and after the melting phase (risk of serious burns to limbs).
• inhalation of fumes or combustion gas caused by backflow from an incorrectly positioned
aspiration tube.
• work carried out on the equipment interior by unauthorised personnel.
