Configuring Transparent Channel

Purpose

Transparent channel is used to transmit data without operating on them. After configuring the
transparent channel, you can control an extended serial device remotely by a PC.

Prerequisite

You must correctly configure serial port before setting the transparent channel parameters. For
details about setting a serial port, see Configuring Serial Port.
