Remote Control Amplifier Volume Override Setup
Set up the TV/amplifier/device sound output to be controlled in other
remote control modes. For example, in VCR mode, sound is heard on TV. In
Aux mode, Aux sound is heard on Aux device. In Cable mode, you may elect
to have the cable box sound heard on the TV or other audio device.
Find the code that operates your amplifier /
device. Test it to make sure it’s the correct one
by following the procedure in “Programming The
Remote”.
Press and hold PRG on your remote until the
Red LED indicator light stays on, then release it.
Press the mode key to select the new output for
the sound. Red LED blinks once.
Press the key. Red LED blinks once.
Press the mode key you want to change the out-
put to the device selected in step 3. Red LED
blinks once.
Press ENTER when finished. Red LED blinks
twice.

To put everything back to normal, reprogram all
modes with their original codes (see “Programming
The Remote” on page 60).
