Operating the hob

 Switch on the hob with the 

 button. All indicators will 

show “ ”.

 Place the utensil in the selected heating zone.

 Select the desired power level (1-9) using the 

 

buttons. The default setting is 5.

If you simultaneously press the 

 buttons for the 

given heating zone, the power setting will be reduced to 

0 and the heating zone will stop operating.
After removing the utensil from the heating zone, the 

heating zone stops operating and the symbol “ ” on the 

power level indicator  will 

fl

 ash for one minute. After that 

the heating zone switches off (symbol “ ”). 
If you place the utensil back on the heating zone 

when the symbol “ ” is 

fl

 ashing, the heating zone will 

automatically return to heating at the previous setting.

 After operation, switch off the hob with the 

 button. 

The hob will switch to the standby mode and after 2 minutes 
it will switch off

Heat indicator

When using the hob for a longer period of time, the given 

heating zone remains hot for some time after switching the 

appliance off. The symbol “ ” on the power indicator of the 

given heating zone warns against accidental touching of the 

hot hob. 

Detecting improper items

If an item of an improper size (scissors, knife, fork, keys 

etc.) or a non-magnetic utensil is placed on the hob, it will 

automatically switch to the standby mode

Overheat protection

The hob is equipped with a built-in sensor, which measures 

the temperature inside the hob. If the permitted temperature 

value is exceeded, the induction hob will automatically 

switch off.

Automatic switch off

When the heating zone is switched on without any operation, 

the hob will switch off automatically upon the lapse of 

a default time depending on the set power level. See table 

below:

BOOSTER function

The BOOSTER function temporarily increases the power of 

the given heating zone.

The BOOSTER function operates for a maximum of 5 

minutes and afterwards the heating zone returns to the 

previous power setting.
To switch on the BOOSTER function, the power indicator 

on given heating zone must

 ash.

 Press the 

 button.

 The symbol “ ” will appear on the power level indicator 

and the heating zone will start operating with the maximum 

power.

 Press  the 

 button to switch off the BOOSTER 

function. The power level of the heating zone will return to 

the previous setting.

ZPI6012UE model:
Only two heating zones: I and III may use the BOOSTER 

function.

While the BOOSTER function is active in the heating 

zone I, the power of the heating zone II is automatically 

reduced to level 2.
The same concerns the heating zones III and IV.

ZPI6014UE model:
The BOOSTER function may be simultaneously active in 

only two heating zones: I and  III, I and IV, II and III as well 

as II and IV.

While the BOOSTER function is active in the heating 

zone I, the power of the heating zone II is automatically 

reduced to level 2 and vice versa.
The same concerns the heating zones III and IV.
