Description of system options
Docking station for iPad
An optional iPad docking station can be used to dock, charge and lock the iPad on the backpack of
the carrier arm. Please refer to the product datasheet of EXTARO 300 or consult your local dealer for
ordering information of the iPad docking station.
For wall mount and ceiling mount system, the docking station will not be mounted on the
carrier arm but can be attached to the wall.
NOTE
Applicable iPad on the docking station
The docking station is compatible with the following types of iPad only:

iPad Air 2
•
iPad Pro (9.7 inch & 10.5 inch)
Using the docking station with other types of iPad or tablet PC would
potentially damage that device or the EXTARO 300 system.
Lens protection cover
The lens protection cover (305935-9039-000) is used to protect the bottom lens of Varioskop 230 from
being contaminated. Please refer to Section 6.4 for detailed instructions on mounting/unmounting the
lens protection cover.
NOTE
Do not sterilize the lens protection cover in autoclaves
The lens protection cover can be damaged if sterilized amid the high
temperature inside an autoclave. For instructions on cleaning and
disinfection, please refer to Chapter 8 for details.
