Making a Firmware Update

In the System Setup Tab, click the “update device firmware” button.
*Note:
If “update device firmware” is not selectable, it is because the encoder is running. If you click
“Stop” at the bottom of the screen, the “update device firmware” button will become active.
(2)
This brings you to the Software Updater screen. Click “Browse” and browse to the image file you
wish to update.

Click “Open.”
(4)
Click “Upload and Update.” You should see a “FLASH Update now in progress” message. Once
finished it will return to the main menu.

Your encoder is now updated.
