This section lists the different options that are available in the various menus.

Sets whether DHCP is used the next time the Z3-
DM816X-RPS RDK is booted up. Note that, since
the board needs to be rebooted, this value should
be written to a configuration before rebooting
occurs. See the section on DHCP configuration
for details.
Resolution

Only appears if decoder mode selected. The
format to display the video.
Layout
[Decode Only]
1x1
Only appears if decoder mode selected. Defines
the rendering format of the screen. The default
is to display 1 channel on a full screen (1x1).
Other options include display 4 channels on a 2x2
screen or display 16 channels on a 4x4 screen.
For this release only 1x1 is officially supported.
Set Device Name
Sets a name for the Z3-DM816X-RPS RDK.
Set Password
Assigns a password to the Z3-DM816X-RPS RDK.
update device firmware
Use to update the software load. See “Making a
Firmware Update” on p.41.
