Pre-Assembly
General Assembly Instructions
Conveyor installation usually begins by
positioning the head over the discharge chute.
Make certain you will have enough room to
assemble the drive on the head shaft before
the entire conveyor is assembled! From that
point, assembly works backwards through the
intermediate sections, ending with the placement
of the tail. This is the generally accepted practice
of conveyor installation. Your situation may
require a different assembly order.
1
Place and completely assemble
supporting structures.
2
Connect the basic components.
Use bottom splices.
3

Then add the chain and flight.
4

tensioning, and adjustment.
5

field
wiring.
8

IMPORTANT NOTE: We strongly advise a generous
caulking application to all basic component mating
flange surfaces before assembly. Follow this tip to
make the conveyor water and dust tight.
