same period.

COP = Coefficient of Performance - the total heating capacity provided by the refrigeration system, including circulating fan heat but excluding supplementary resistance (BTU's per hour)

divided by the total electric input (watts) x 3.412.

HSPF = Heating Seasonal Performance Factor - the total heating output during a normal annual usage period for heating divided by the total electric power input during the same period.

(Based on Region IV minimum design heating requirement).
