6.1.2 Disconnect remote type sensor
WARNING

Switch off power supply and communication.
▶
Secure against inadvertent switch-on.
Disconnecting
power,
communication
and grounding
After power down and breaking all power cable connections from L/+ N/- and grounding
for the power circuit (except potential equalization connection of external grounding termi-
nal) the sensor has to be disconnected by the following procedure:
1. Open the terminal cover.

2. Disconnect all cables with the operating tool.
3. Remove the cable gland and cable.
4. Disconnect the sensor potential equalization.

After power down and breaking all power cable connections from L/+ N/- and grounding
for the power circuit (except potential equalization connection of external grounding termi-
nal) the sensor has to be disconnected by the following procedure:
1. Remove locking screw of the “Terminal box power and I/O connection” and remove
the back cover.
2. Disconnect the communication and I/O cables (avoid short circuit!).
3. Remove the cable gland and cable.
