4.4.3 Setting the waveform
1.
Press the
FCTN shortcut key to
display the waveform choice list.
Alternatively, select the [Fctn] field and
press the
ENTER key to open the
choice list.
Even if there are several setting screens,
the [Fctn] field is always displayed at the
top right of the first page.

Select the desired waveform from the choice list and then press the
ENTER key to
apply the setting and reflect it to the output.
The desired waveform can also be set and reflected to the output by inputting the number
of the desired waveform displayed in the choice list from the numeric keypad.
The desired waveform can also be set by inputting a number from the numeric keypad
while the [Fctn] field is selected (without the choice list displayed).
4.4.4 Setting the frequency

Press the
FREQ shortcut key to
display the frequency input field, or select
the [Freq] field and then press the
ENTER key to open the input field.
Even if there are several setting screens,
the [Freq] field is always displayed at the
top left of the first page.
When [Period] is displayed in the [Freq]
field and the period and not the frequency
is displayed, either press the
FREQ
key or press the [Freq] soft key, to switch
to the frequency display.

Select the digit to be changed with the
left/right arrow keys, and increment/
decrement the value with the
up/down arrow keys or the
modify knob. The
change is instantly reflected to the output.
Alternatively, enter a numeric value using the
...
numeric keypad. Then press the
ENTER key or one of the unit keys (soft keys: [uHz] [mHz] [Hz] [kHz] [MHz]) to set
the input value and reflect it to the output. If the ENTER key is used, the unit is set to Hz.
