5 Device Management
The BroadWorks Device Management feature provides the capability to automate
generation of device configuration files to support mass deployment of devices. This
section identifies the device management capabilities supported by the Yealink T4x IP
Phone and the configuration steps required. For Device Management configuration

5.1 Device Management Capabilities Supported
The Yealink T4x IP Phone has completed Device Management interoperability testing with
BroadWorks using the
BroadWorks Device Management Interoperability Test Plan
The results are summarized in the following table.
The BroadWorks test plan is composed of packages, each covering distinct
interoperability areas. Each package is composed of one or more test items, which in
turn, are composed of one or more test cases. The test plan exercises the Device
Management interface between the device and BroadWorks with the intent to ensure
interoperability.
