The steering tube is fixed to the upper fork through N°6 M6 stud. To avoid any kind of mechanical play between the
steering column and the fork and increase the stiffness of the system, there is a mechanical centering between the
steering column tube and the bearing shaft.
To disassembly the complete steering column (operation necessary for scooter transportation) it is necessary to unscrew
the N°6 knut from the stud. Then insert a flathead screwdriver into one of the N°2 recess on the lower steering column
insert and leverage till the steering column are completely removed from the studs.
When the steering column is out of the studs it should be possible to rotate it a bit and remove it completely and easily
from the bearing shaft.
