4. “03” is indicated in diagnostic mode (code D60). EEPROM data error for adjustment of CO concen-
tration of cylinder #3.
• Change the CO concentration of cylinder #3, and rewrite in EEPROM.
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST GAS VOLUME” on page 3-12.
• After this adjustment is made, turn the main switch to “OFF”.
• Turn the main switch to “ON”, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction mode
of the YDT.
5. “04” is indicated in diagnostic mode (code D60). EEPROM data error for adjustment of CO concen-
tration of cylinder #4.
• Change the CO concentration of cylinder #4, and rewrite in EEPROM.
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST GAS VOLUME” on page 3-12.
• After this adjustment is made, turn the main switch to “OFF”.
• Turn the main switch to “ON”, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction mode
of the YDT.
6. Except “00-04” is indicated in diagnostic mode (Code D60). EEPROM data error for corresponding
learning/memory values.
• Turn the main switch to “OFF”.
• Turn the main switch to “ON”, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction mode
of the YDT.
7. Malfunction in ECU.
• Replace the ECU, and complete the service.
Refer to “REPLACING THE ECU (Engine Control Unit)” on page 8-41.
8. Delete the DTC and check that the MIL goes off.
• Confirm that the DTC has a condition of “Recovered” using the YDT, and then delete the DTC.
Is it in the “Recovered” condition

YES

Go to step 8, and complete the service.
NO
a. Repeat step 1.
b. If the same number is indicated, go to item 7.
Is it in the “Recovered” condition
