Removing the battery
WARNING
Position the Snowblower on a level sur-
face.
1. Stop the engine and remove the engine
switch key.
2. Remove the screws 1. Then, remove
the screws 2 and collars, and the right
side cover.

3. Remove the battery band.
4. First disconnect the battery negative
lead from the negative battery terminal,
and then disconnect the battery positive
lead from the positive battery terminal.

5. Remove the battery.
Installing the battery
Install the battery by performing the remov-
al procedures in the reverse order.
Cleaning the terminals
If there is any contamination or corrosion
on the battery terminals clean them using a
soft brush. If there is any white powder ad-
hering to the battery, sprinkle warm water
on the battery and wipe off the powder.
