5. Pull the recoil starter slowly until it is
engaged, then pull it briskly.

NOTICE
Release the recoil starter handle slowly.
TIP
If the engine fails to start even after pull-
ing the recoil starter handle several times,
move the throttle/choke lever to the “FAST
:
” position, and then pull the recoil starter
handle.
6. After starting the engine, leave the en-
gine to warm up for a while, and then
move the throttle/choke lever from the
“START

” position to the “FAST

position.
