Avant la charge:
ajouter uniquement
de l’eau distillée si le niveau de liquide
est inférieur au sommet des plaques,
puis ajouter juste assez d’eau pour
couvrir les plaques.
Après la charge:
ouvrir les bouchons
d’évent et regarder à l’intérieur des
trous de remplissage. Ajouter de l’eau
distillée jusqu’à ce que le niveau
d’électrolyte se trouve à 3 mm (1/8") au-
dessous du fond du trou de
remplissage. Il est possible d’utiliser un
morceau de caoutchouc comme jauge
pour déterminer ce niveau. Nettoyer,
remonter et serrer tous les bouchons
d’évent.
L’eau normale du robinet contient des
minéraux qui sont dangereux pour
une batterie; par conséquent, remplir
uniquement avec de l’eau distillée.

A l’aide d’un densimètre, vérifier la
densité du liquide des batteries dans
chaque élément par rapport aux
valeurs indiquées dans le tableau ci-
dessous. S’adresser à un
concessionnaire Yamaha si les valeurs
sont faibles ou si elles varient de plus
d’un point entre les éléments.
