on the oil strainer housing must

point towards the front of the engine.

2. Install:

oil strainer cover

relief valve

The arrow

on the oil strainer cover must point

towards the front of the engine.

INSTALLING THE OIL PAN
1. Install:

dowel pins

gasket (New)

oil pan

oil level switch

engine oil drain bolt

Always use new copper washers.

Tighten the oil pan bolts in stages and in a
crisscross pattern.

Lubricate the oil level switch’s O-ring with en-
gine oil.
