Sound is stopped when the test item is quit.
Test 21
Function: MIC check
Description:
Check output sound with MIC input. Check that there is no
abnormal sounds or noise.
The [MASTER VOLUME] can be set to any level.
Set the [MIC GAIN] to the maximum level.
Connect a level meter (JIS-C curve) to the L/L+R of [AUX
OUT/LOOP SEND] terminal. (Load should be 10 k
Ω .)
Input signal of -45 dBu (1 kHz sine wave) from an oscillator
to the [MIC INPUT] phone jack and measure at output
terminals.
• AUX OUT/LOOP SEND L/L+R: +11.0±2 dBu
Check also if connection and disconnection of MIC is
detected by inserting and removing MIC.
¡ Amount of GAIN volume decay:
Change the [MIC GAIN] volume to the minimum level
with the other setups remained as above.
Measure output terminals.
• AUX OUT/LOOP SEND L/L+R: -25.0±3 dBu
The same check is performed for the cannon plugs.

MIC, Amount of GAIN volume decay)
When inserting the cannon plug, short the terminal to GND
where no signal is input.
¡ To input a signal into the Hot side (pin No. 2), short the
Cold side (pin No. 3) to GND and input a signal between
Hot and GND.

To input a signal into the Cold side (pin No. 3), short the
Hot side (pin No. 2) to GND and input a signal between
Cold and GND.

terminal. (Load should be 10 k

Input signals -20 dBu (1 kHz sine wave) from an oscillator
to the L/L+R, R of [AUX IN/ LOOP RETURN] terminal and
measure at output terminals.
• LINE OUT MAIN L/L+R: +2.0 ±2 dBu
