Connecting the Plug and Cord
WARNING:
THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED
IMPORTANT. The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
GREEN-AND-YELLOW
:
EARTH
BLUE
:
NEUTRAL
BROWN :
LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured GREEN-and-YELLOW must be connected to
the terminal in the plug which is marked by the letter E or by the safety
earth symbol or colored GREEN or GREEN-and-YELLOW.
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
• This applies only to products distributed by Yamaha-Kemble Music (U.K.) Ltd.

SAVING DATA

If you come in contact with solder or components located inside the enclosure of this product, wash your hands before handling food.
Saving and backing up your data
• The data of the types listed below are lost when you turn off the power to the instrument. Save the data to the User drive or appropriate
external media.
• Created/Edited Voices
• Created/Edited Styles
• Memorized One Touch Settings
• Recorded/Edited Songs
• Created Multi Pads
• Edited MIDI Settings
Data in the User drive may be lost due to malfunction or incorrect operation. Save important data to an external media.
Data in the internal hard disk drive may be lost due to malfunction or incorrect operation. We recommend that you backup any necessary
data to computer by using the USB Storage Mode.
Backing up the USB storage device/external media
• To protect against data loss through media damage, we recommend that you save your important data onto two USB storage devices/
external media.
