Troubleshooting
Power Source
Problem Cause Solution
The power cannot
be turned on. The remaining Battery life is
low. Follow the instructions on this page to
charge the product.
The power turns
off unexpectedly. The remaining Battery life is
low. Follow the instructions on this page to
charge the product.
The Auto Power Off has just
been activated. Follow the instructions on this page to
disable the Auto Power Off function or set
it to a longer time.
The power turns
off unexpectedly
while charging.
Loud sounds are being
output from the built-in
speaker while charging the
battery with a low current,
such as via a USB
connection with a computer. Follow the instructions on this page to
charge this product.
In addition, instead of using the built-in
speaker, connect an external audio device
to the [PHONES/OUTPUT] jack.
No sound or volume too low
Problem Cause Solution
There is no
sound. The product is set so that
sound is not output from the
built-in speaker. Set [MENU] → Utility → SpeakerOut to a value
other than “Off.”
An audio cable is connected
to the [PHONES/OUTPUT]
jack. Disconnect the cable connected to the
[PHONES/OUTPUT] jack, or set the
[MENU]
→
Utility
→
SpeakerOut to “On.”
The volume is set too low. Increase the volume, as described in the
following sections.
• Adjusting the volume
The current Kit is set so that
no sound is generated by any
Pads. Set [KIT]
→
PadEdit
→
NoteFunc to “NoAssign.”
Set the Velocity Limit according to how hard you
hit the Pads.
The current Trigger is set so
that no sound is generated by
any Pads. Increase the value for the
[MENU] → Trigger → ADGain .
