CHECKING THE STOPPER LEVER

1. Check: 

• stopper lever

• stopper lever spring

Bends/damage

 Replace. 

Roller turns roughly 

→

 Replace the stopper

lever.

INSTALLING THE STOPPER LEVER

1. Install:

• stopper lever 

1

NOTE:

Hook the hooked end of the stopper lever
spring onto the stopper lever and catch the
straight end of the stopper lever spring onto
the crankcase.

INSTALLING THE SHIFT SHAFT

1. Install:

• shift shaft 

1

NOTE:

• Install the end of the shift shaft spring onto

the shift shaft spring stopper 

2

• Make sure that the arm section of the shift

shaft contacts the dowel pins on the shift
drum
