1. Check:

• clutch boss splines
• clutch boss cam groove
• clutch boss one-way cam

Damage/pitting/wear

→

Replace the clutch

boss and clutch boss one-way cam as a
set.

NOTE:

Pitting on the clutch boss splines will cause
erratic clutch operation.
