• 00 (no history)
• 01–02: Cylinder fault code number (history exists)
If more than one cylinder is defective, the display switches every two
seconds to show the cylinder fault code numbers of all defective cylin-
ders in a repeating cycle.
• 11: Data error for ISC (idle speed control) learning values (history ex-
ists)

Locate the malfunction
Execute the diagnostic mode.

00: Go to item 5.

“01” is indicated in diagnostic
mode (code No. 60). EEP-ROM
data error for adjustment of CO
concentration of cylinder #1.
Change the CO concentration of
cylinder #1, and rewrite in EE-
PROM.
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE EX-
HAUST GAS VOLUME” on
page 5-2.
After this adjustment is made,
turn the main switch to “OFF”.
Turn the main switch to “ON”.
Fault code number is not dis-
played
→
Service is finished.
Fault code number is displayed

Repeat item 1. If the same
number is indicated, go to item
5.

“02” is indicated in diagnostic
mode (code No. 60). EEP-ROM
data error for adjustment of CO
concentration of cylinder #2.
Change the CO concentration of
cylinder #2, and rewrite in EE-
PROM.
