Refer to “ADJUSTING THE 
CLUTCH LEVER FREE PLAY” 
on page 3-12.

Execute the diagnostic mode. 
(Code No. 21)
When the clutch lever is re-
leased with the transmission in 
gear and when the sidestand is 
retracted: “OFF”
When the clutch lever is 
squeezed with the transmission 
in gear and when the sidestand 
is retracted: “ON”
Correct indication

 Go to item 

C-9 and delete the fault code.
Incorrect indication 

→

 Go to 

item C-3.

pler.
Check the locking condition of 
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and 
check the pins (bent or broken 
terminals and locking condition 
of the pins).
