Close bolt cover and turn lever tight.

when positioning the
towers

AS YOU TIGHTEN
THE TOWER BOLT:
• Minimize the gap, until the tower is
tight against the rail.
• Lift the rubber flap to see if the rail is
seated against the tower.
Behind the
tower, make
sure that the rail
hook is hooking
into the rail.
Hold the tower against the rail and
tighten the rail hook using the lever.
You may need to loosen the lever
on very wide rails.
on opposiTE ToWEr, samE bar:
Tighten Tower
bolt and close
bolt cover.
Make sure hook
is in the rail.
Tighten hook
into rail.
ChECk ThE FirsT ToWEr To bE surE
iT is sTiLL TighT againsT ThE raiL.
Pulling outboard on the tower, tighten
crossbar bolt with supplied wrench.

Hook THe RAiL
it may be
necessary to
loosen the lever
to allow the
hooks to engage
the rail.
