Press and hold the [
POWER
] key for two seconds to turn the transceiver on.
Rotate the [
VOL
] knob to adjust the audio volume level.
Press the [
SQL
] key briefly then rotate the [
DIAL
] knob carefully to adjust the squelch
threshold level.
Press the [
DIAL
] knob briefly to set the “Main” band.
Press the [
B
] key to select the operating band of the “Main” band.
Rotate the [
DIAL
] knob to select the operating frequency.
Press and hold the [
PTT
] key, and speak into the microphone in a normal voice level.
Press and hold the [
POWER
] key for two seconds to turn the transceiver off.
