Edit memory tag
Memory name tags, such as a call sign or broadcast station name may be assigned to
the memory channels and home channels. Input a memory tag using up to 16 characters.
Alphabetic characters (upper and lowercase), Numbers and Symbols may be entered to
the memory name tag.
1. Press and hold the [

] key.
The memory channel list appears. The lowest available
number is selected.
The memory channel list can also be displayed by the
following operations:

edit the memory tag, then press the

3. A popup will appear. Rotate the

• The character input screen is displayed. Rotate the
DIAL
knob to select a character, and press the
DIAL
knob to enter the character.
: moves the cursor to the left.

: displays the alphabet keypad input screen.

: displays the symbols keypad input screen.
: erases the character to the left of the cursor and
moves the cursor to the left.
