How to use each mode
・
The size of the treatment window is the area of the
skin that can be treated with one flash emission.
* Make sure to move the device over your skin to
another area after each flash.

Carry out a treatment while moving
the device on the skin from one
area to the adjacent area after each
flash.

Apply the treatment window fully and
firmly onto the skin (white READY lamp
will be lit) and press the flash button.
・
Once the white READY lamp is lit, flash emission can
commence.
* Do not look directly into the treatment window of the
lamp head.
* Hold the device in a manner that does not block the
vent holes. Failure to comply may cause the device to
generate heat.
* When a flash pulse does not discharge, treatment
window is not firmly in contact with the skin. When
applying the device to the skin, make sure that the white
READY lamp is lit.

When the treatment is finished, hold down the power/level button
(approx. 3 seconds) to turn off the device and let it cool down for
approximately 3 minutes.
・
Even if you do not press the power/level button, the device will automatically shut off after an
extended buzzer sound is emitted twice after approximately ten minutes of use.
・
Turn off the power and leave the device alone for approximately 3 minutes. The working fan will
cool down the lamp head.

Moisturize skin treated with flash pulses using skin toner or
moisturizing lotion.

After using the device, unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet,
disconnect the adapter plug from the device, and clean the device
and lamp head.
・
Clean after each use according to “How to clean” (page 23).
・
Refrain from taking a bath (shower is permitted), exercising, or drinking alcoholic beverages on the
day of a treatment.

Warning
DO NOT use the device on the following sites.
Failure to comply may cause an accident or skin problems or physical ailments to
occur.

When carrying out a treatment, keep the following tips in mind:
●
Treatment of the underarm area <recommended: single BODY mode>
・
Carefully remove any antiperspirant, perfume, cream, or other cosmetic product from the underarm
area prior to treatment.
・
If you use a mirror, finding sites to be treated will become easier and render a treatment easier to carry
out.
・
Since the skin is susceptible to sagging, carry out a treatment while stretching out the skin with your
fingers.
・
When skin gets into the dent at the treatment window, you might feel it hot.

Facial treatment <recommended: single FACE mode>
・
Remove makeup and use the device on clean skin.
* Do not look directly at the flash pulses.
<Treatment for unwanted facial hair>
・
When applying treatments above the lip or chin or on any other site with a narrow scope for
movement or on a site with a sharp angle, carry out a treatment while you stretch out the skin of the
site being treated.
・
After carrying out a treatment, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Refrain from getting a suntan for the
duration of a treatment.
<Facial skin treatment>
・
Apply treatments two or three times a week with an intensity level which you feel a slight warmth.
・
Moisturize the skin with skin toner after use.
●
Bikini line treatment <recommended: single BODY mode>
・
Use the device at a low level on sites where pigmentation is occurring or sites with darker skin color.
* Make sure to start using from level 1 until you are more accustomed
to the treatment.
* The device cannot be used on external genitalia or surrounding
mucous membranes.
●
Arm/leg treatment <recommended: roller mode>
・
You are more likely to feel pain or develop redness at
bony or roughly textured sites than elsewhere.
・
Hold the device perpendicular to the skin so that the
treatment window is in full contact with the skin as
shown in the illustration.
