Set the
encoder name
(hostname)

IP Method
dropdown list, select
Static or DHCP
.

In the case of
STATIC
configuration, complete the
IP Address
,
Net mask
,
and
Default Gateway
fields with the correct information.

In the case of
DHCP,
the unit will send a DHCP request. If a DHCP server
is active, the unit will receive all network parameters from the server. If a
DHCP is inactive, the unit will fall back to default IP after approx. 5secs.

Select the check box ‘
Ignore ICMP Echo’ if ping requests should be ignored
f.
Click
Save.
