Modbus Connection

For Modbus versions, up to 32 VESDA Sensepoint XCL detectors can be connected in a daisy chain
arrangement as shown in the diagram below.

Note:

Where possible, spur or ‘T’ connections should be avoided. Always keep the spur connection as
short as possible.
