3. Press any of the Units/Enter keys (V, A, ºC or ºF) to make the selection.
If the instrument has been programmed to require a password
for this
procedure, you will be prompted with the following display:
< Enter Password >
4. If no password is requested the following will display:
< Start Ext. Cal. >
5. If a password is required, enter the digits and press a units key (V, A, ºC
or ºF). If the
correct
password has been entered the following will
display:
< Start Ext. Cal. >
If the
incorrect
password is entered the display will abort after flashing:
< Wrong >
Note:
To abort the external calibration selection at any time, press the
CLR key. You will return the instrument to the output level and status
that was present when the MNU key was initially pressed.
6. In no password is requested or the correct password is entered, press any
of the arrow keys to continue.
7. Whether a password was previously required or not, you may be
prompted to enter a new password:
< New Password >

To bypass entering a new password, press any of the arrow keys to
continue.

To enter a password, press any of the Units/Enter keys (V, A, ºC or
ºF). The following will display:
<Global Password?>
